“The November edition of the news magazine Bahá’í-Nytt published an article about Friends of UPLIFT and the large women’s health project UPLIFT Women in West Nile (2023-2027). The project was (as discussed extensively here on the website over the past two years) made possible with Norad funds, allocated to FOKUS and further distributed to UPLIFT West Nile, with Friends of UPLIFT as the Norwegian partner organisation.
The article is a topical update after a larger presentation 5 years ago (March 2019) about UPLIFT (Uganda Programme of Literacy for Transformation), established in 2001 as a “Bahá’í-Inspired Agency”, and Friends of UPLIFT (Norway), established in 2012.
