Over tusen deltagere var samlet i Parombo Sub-County (kommune) i Nebbi District for å feire avgangseksamen i lese- og skriveopplæring for voksne – gjennom 25 år!

Gifts are presented to the prominent guests from Norway. Sometimes a pot of ground-nut sauce, other times a live chicken. Not always easy to take with you in your backpack or on a plane to the north. These boys have gone a bit out of their way – three storeys high! Hmm – special delivery?

As we have now entered 2026, it seems appropriate to point out that UPLIFT, still an actively driving force, has existed for 25 years.
