Gifts are presented to the prominent guests from Norway. Sometimes a pot of ground-nut sauce, other times a live chicken. Not always easy to take with you in your backpack or on a plane to the north. These boys have gone a bit out of their way – three storeys high! Hmm – special delivery?
As indicated in the January letter, here comes the next pair of photos (or three of them) from previous UPLIFT Graduations, at the tail end of February. This time we jump ahead and pick some from 2015 (see the ‘February letter’ 2015). To the ‘seniors’ among us who were there at the time, it doesn’t seem long ago, yet still memorable! The photos are from the ceremony, that year, in a newly-separated municipality, Ndéw Sub-County.
